We invite a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our VeliTech team. 

In this role, you will:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Java
  • Rewrite and migrate existing automated tests from Groovy to Java
  • Execute automated test suites and manage test execution control
  • Extend and enhance the existing test automation framework with new features and functionality
  • Identify, analyze, verify, and report software defects, ensuring clear reproduction steps and documentation
  • Collaborate closely with QA, Development, and Support teams to ensure high product quality
  • Participate in test planning, review test results, and track defect resolution
  • Follow established QA processes, standards, and best practices
  • Proactively suggest and implement improvements to QA processes and automation approaches
  • Support continuous integration pipelines by maintaining stable and reliable automated tests
Skills and experience you will need:
  • 4+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer
  • Experience with Java 8+
  • Deep understanding of programming principles(SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI, etc.)
  • Experience with API testing
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with Kafka
  • Experience with DB(SQL/NoSQL)
  • Knowledge of software development process, testing life cycle understanding, CI/CD understanding
  • Extremely detail-oriented, investigator and troubleshooter
Would be a plus:
  • Ability to read and understand Groovy code for maintaining legacy tests
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and testing in Kubernetes environments
